FAA Proposes $3.1 Million in Fines Against Boeing  The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has proposed civil penalties totaling $3,139,319 against The Boeing Company for multiple safety violations tied to its 737 production line. The fines stem from issues that occurred between September 2023 and February 2024, including events connected to the January 5, 2024, 737 MAX door plug blowout and interference with FAA safety oversight. Quality System Failures The FAA said it found “hundreds of quality system violations” at Boeing’s 737 factory in Renton, Washington, and at Spirit AeroSystems’ 737 facility in Wichita, Kansas. According to the agency, Boeing failed to comply with its mandated quality control system and even presented two aircraft as airworthy when they were not in conformity with FAA standards. “These lapses undermine the integrity of the aviation safety system,” the FAA said, noting that it exercised its maximum statutory civil penalty authority in the case. Military Jet Crashes Into School, Killing 19 in Bangladesh

Dhaka, Bangladesh – July 21, 2025

A devastating air disaster struck the heart of Dhaka this afternoon when a Bangladesh Air Force F-7 BGI training aircraft crashed into Milestone School and College in the densely populated Uttara area. The crash has left at least 19 people dead and more than 100 injured, with dozens suffering from severe burns and trauma.

The incident occurred around 13:06 PM local time, during what authorities described as a routine training flight. Eyewitnesses reported hearing a loud explosion followed by a massive blaze as the jet plummeted into the school compound. Smoke billowed across the neighborhood, and emergency services scrambled to contain the inferno and evacuate survivors.

Among the deceased are the pilot and multiple students. Many of the injured are in critical condition and have been rushed to nearby hospitals, where medical staff are overwhelmed by the scale of the casualties.

Military officials confirmed the aircraft was an F-7 BGI — a Chinese-made fighter used primarily for training missions, although questions are mounting about how a military jet came to crash in a civilian zone?. Aviation analysts have pointed to potential engine failure or control system malfunction, though no official cause has been released.

The Bangladesh Civil Aviation Authority, Air Force investigators, and international safety experts are expected to jointly examine the black box and flight data once recovered.

This disaster marks one of the deadliest aviation-related incidents in recent Bangladeshi history and has reignited public concerns about flight safety over urban areas
